David has served in his current position since 2004. As a member of the Student Conduct team within the Dean of Students Office, he enjoys working with Duke students and colleagues in a variety of capacities. This includes serving as an academic advisor for Trinity College and advising the student and staff Disciplinary Advisors. He is always happy to chat with any Duke student about whatever is on his/her mind. David's prior experiences include advising a tutoring/mentoring program serving middle school students, implementing Duke Reunions, and working in theater and the cable industry. He has earned a B.A. in Psychology and Drama from Duke and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the College of William and Mary. David enjoys spending time with his friends and family. In his free time, his interests include playing the piano, playing tennis, following college basketball, and laughing. Duke is one of his favorite places in the world, and he has a very low tolerance for Carolina blue.
