Valerie joined the Office of Student Conduct in July 2007. She received a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Journalism from Brandeis University and a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University. She comes to Duke following four years working for Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life at The Ohio State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her interests include a cappella music, theater, knitting, and jewelry making. Valerie is excited about making the transition to a deeper hue of blue.
