Academic Integrity
There are a number of on-campus offices and Duke University websites with information on proper research methods, citing sources, and avoiding plagiarism. Here are a few that can help you better understand the importance of academic integrity as a component of the Duke Community Standard.
On-Campus:
- Writing Studio: Schedule an appointment with a trained writing tutor to discuss your work-in-progress and individual writing concerns. Appointments should be made in advance, online.
- Academic Skills Instruction Program: Learn the best strategies for you to excel in your courses using effective resources.
- Peer Tutoring Program: Offers "semester-long, regular support for students through individual and group tutoring sessions designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of course concepts, to assist students in grasping both individual concepts and the broader network of concepts presented in a course, and to provide opportunities for guided practice."
